Arsenal's Kai Havertz returns from Germany camp with hamstring concern
WHAT HAPPENED
Arsenal midfielder Kai Havertz has returned early from international duty after sustaining a hamstring injury playing for Germany against the Netherlands. The 27-year-old picked up the problem in the opening half of the Nations League match and was substituted in the 30th minute. Germany released him from the national team camp and he will undergo further examination with Arsenal. The concern has been described as reportedly minor.

KEY CONTEXT
Arsenal do not return to Premier League action until 10 October, when they host Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium. With Havertz sidelined, Viktor Gyökeres — who has had limited league minutes this season and has appeared frustrated on the bench — could be in line for his first Premier League start of the campaign against Leeds. Gyökeres is currently on Nations League duty with his national side.
