Arteta confirms Christos Tzolis sidelined for a few weeks with hamstring injury
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed winger Christos Tzolis will be out for a few weeks after suffering a hamstring injury during the recent international break. Tzolis returned to Arsenal ahead of schedule and “won't be available for some period of time,” Arteta said, leaving the club short on specialist options on the left flank.

WHAT HAPPENED
Tzolis picked up the hamstring problem while on international duty and came back to Arsenal earlier than planned. The Greek international had made a positive start at the club, contributing four assists across all competitions before the injury.

KEY CONTEXT
With Tzolis sidelined, Arsenal currently have no other specialist left winger in the squad. Eberechi Eze has started as the left winger outside of the Premier League this season, and Noni Madueke — who has occasionally played on the left in his career — is another potential option mentioned in coverage of the situation. EyeFootball described the injury as a huge blow for the north London side.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
Arteta has not provided a specific return date beyond the assessment that Tzolis will be out for a few weeks. The club will monitor his recovery and plan selections accordingly.
