United have had a difficult start to the Premier League season, collecting six points from six matches, and now face a tough away fixture in Europe.
Team implications
With Mainoo absent, Mason Mount could be handed a rare start as the number eight. Carlos Baleba could make his maiden start for Manchester United alongside Mount. In Shaw's absence, Diogo Dalot is a candidate to operate as a makeshift left-back, while Leny Yoro looks poised to continue at right-back.
