JJ Gabriel rejects Manchester United scholarship and rules out Chelsea move

WHAT HAPPENED
JJ Gabriel has declined United’s scholarship offer and is already looking for a deal elsewhere. He is not considering a switch to Chelsea, sources say, and any move to a domestic rival would likely have to wait until next July because United have registered him in their development squad.
INTEREST FROM ABROAD
TalkSPORT claim a move abroad looks likely. Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are reported to be leading the race for the youngster, and Real Madrid have been in contact with his agency. Barcelona were previously linked with the winger, but sporting director Deco has recently distanced the club from that speculation and Barcelona have not made a contract offer.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
Gabriel is exploring options away from Manchester United. A domestic transfer to Chelsea would face eligibility timing constraints while interest from top European clubs appears to be developing.
