Luke Shaw doubtful for Manchester United's away Champions League trip to Atletico
Manchester United left-back Luke Shaw is a doubt for Tuesday night's Champions League trip to Atletico Madrid after leaving the Spurs game appearing to limp. Shaw played almost the entire match against Tottenham before Ayden Heaven replaced him as a late stoppage-time substitute.

With Shaw's participation uncertain, Ayden Heaven is being considered to start at left-back for manager Michael Carrick. Patrick Dorgu and Noussair Mazraoui are out injured, leaving Heaven as the next available option. There is also the possibility of deploying Lisandro Martinez at left-back, but the Argentine has had workload concerns and may not be risked in that role.

United head into the Atletico fixture on a run of four league matches without a win. Atletico are noted as a difficult opponent on their home turf, making a potentially weakened Manchester United side's task more challenging.
