Danny Murphy, working as a Match of the Day pundit, has highlighted problems in Manchester United’s midfield following the club’s 1-1 draw with Tottenham, a match in which Spurs finished with 10 men.

WHAT MURPHY SAID
Murphy looked specifically at United’s midfield as an area of concern in the fixture, noting problems that affected the team’s performance in the draw against a depleted Tottenham side.

WHY IT MATTERS
The result — a 1-1 stalemate despite Tottenham being reduced to 10 players — provides the context for Murphy’s focus on midfield issues, which he identified as a key problem during his analysis.
