WHAT HAPPENED
Nico O'Reilly has withdrawn from England's squad for the final two Nations League matches of the international break because of injury. He has returned to Manchester City for "further assessment" and will miss the trip to Croatia on Saturday and the return game against the Czech Republic on Tuesday.

CONTEXT
O'Reilly played the full game in the 3-2 defeat by Spain but did not feature in Tuesday's 2-0 win against the Czech Republic. Newcastle United full-back Lewis Hall replaced O'Reilly against the Czechs and combined well with former Magpies team-mate Anthony Gordon on England's left flank.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
England travel to Croatia on Saturday and host the Czech Republic on Tuesday; O'Reilly will not take part in either match while he is with Manchester City for assessment.
