Palace sign Chilwell and Timber after deadline
Crystal Palace have completed permanent deals for England defender Ben Chilwell and Netherlands international Quinten Timber, filing the transfers after the 23:00 BST deadline by submitting deal sheets to the Premier League. The Eagles also added Chile winger Dario Osorio on a season-long loan from FC Midtjylland.

WHAT HAPPENED
Ben Chilwell returns to Selhurst Park from RC Strasbourg. He spent the second half of the 2024-25 campaign on loan with Palace and helped the club win the FA Cup in May 2025. "It's amazing to be back," Chilwell said. "It's nice to see some familiar faces, and I'm just really excited to get back in, see the boys and the fans, and get going again."

Quinten Timber arrives from Marseille and has signed a five-year contract with Palace, who are described as the Conference League winners in the club announcement. Timber, 25, has been capped 13 times by the Netherlands and "was part of their squad for this summer's World Cup." He is the brother of Arsenal defender Jurrien Timber.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS
Chilwell has 21 England caps and has previously played for Chelsea, Leicester City and Huddersfield Town. The club statement notes he spent last season with Strasbourg after joining the Ligue 1 side from Chelsea in September 2025.
