Tottenham to travel to Marbella for warm-weather training trip

Tottenham will fly to Marbella for a training camp and team-bonding trip following Saturday's Premier League game at Manchester United. Roberto de Zerbi hopes spending time in Marbella can help kick-start a campaign that remains winless so far, with two draws from five games leaving them bottom of the table.
KEY CONTEXT
There are nine days between the Old Trafford fixture and Monday's home game against newly promoted Coventry, giving the club an opportunity to use warmer conditions abroad: temperatures are predicted to reach 25 degrees in Marbella while rain is forecast at Tottenham's Enfield training base. Such trips are unusual this early in the season and so soon after the international break; English clubs typically look for warmer weather in winter.
Tottenham spent more than £250m on new players over the summer, adding 10 signings to the squad. The busy fixture schedule and the extended international break have limited chances for the new-look group to gel — Savio, Tosin Adarabioyo, Mykhailo Mudryk and Omar Marmoush completed moves in the last week of the transfer window.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
The team will travel to Marbella after Saturday's game and return in time for the home match against Coventry on Monday.
