Valencia sign Liverpool's Elliott on loan

Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott has joined Valencia on a loan deal that runs until the end of the season. The agreement between the clubs does not include an option or obligation for Valencia to make the transfer permanent.
Elliott travelled to Spain to finalise the move after Liverpool and Valencia reached terms earlier the same day.
KEY CONTEXT
This is Elliott’s second loan away from Liverpool in as many seasons; he spent last season on loan at Aston Villa. He became a Liverpool player in 2019 when he moved from Fulham at the age of 16 and had a loan spell at Blackburn Rovers in the 2020–21 season. His contract with Liverpool extends until 2028.
